A long loving look

I recently heard writer/poet Naomi Shihab Nye reflect on contemplation where she said; "I've always loved the definition for contemplation: "a long, loving look." And when you take a long, loving look anywhere, you feel more bonded with whatever you've looked at."

This definition of contemplation really struck me and sent me on a deeper and more focused meditation through various facets of my life...

This range is charged by this sentiment, looking deeply into the kind of offering I want to give you. Not only is music central to my creative process but of late I've been listening to more philosophical and sociology based podcasts- giving a different kind of charge and energy to my working days, acting as a beautiful way to reconnect my mind and my work with their greater surroundings.

An edited range of my wardrobe staples with a heavy focus on shirting, light tailoring and outerwear: an offering I'm excited to expand upon. There are also a few limited run, standout, celebratory pieces in some more lavish textiles. As always, each and every piece is made in Melbourne by loving hands with the predominant use of deadstock and limited run fabrics.

We'd love to keep in touch
